Hi I am a 40 year old female and do from time to time suffer from ecezma. I get hayfever quite bad at the moment as it is spring time here. Antihistamines dont seem to take the itch away. I have an itchy face at the moment and its driving me crazy any solutions. Tried lots. Cheers
As per your query you have eczema and also have hay fever , anti histamine don't seems to work . There can be may reasons for eczema like cosmetics products , pets , pollens , certain viruses and bacteria , weather , food like nuts and sea food . In your case the probable reasons is seasonal allergy . I would suggest you to keep youself away from open environment , use air condition , continue taking anti histamine like bendryl , apply cold compresses to affected area and apply moisturizer . If condtion doesn't get improve or get worse then consult allergy specialist for proper examination . Doctor will take history and try to find out the trigger factor . Doctor may order allergy test . Doctor may give adrenaline short or may hospitalize .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
