Suggest Treatment For Itching On Thigh Joints And Pubic Area

Hi, I have a itching on my thigh joints and around pubis area for almost 2 weeks time. I have tried using itch guard and later used Dipsolic Oinment. Time to time i was applying coconut oil also. I was not having this issues before. But i feel it started after having intercourse with my wife. She is also having the same itching problem. We are not able get rid of this problem. Kindly suggest a good medicine , pre cautions so that we will take care accordingly.

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is tinea corporis which is a fungal infection. You must avoid heat and humidity. Avoid dipsalic ointment as it will aggrevate itching. Topical antifungal creams like clotrimazole can be used along with oral antifungals like fluconazole after consulting your dermatologist. Regards
