Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation And Problems In Conceiving

Hii dr,I have been trying to conceive for about a year and 4months but unable to do so due to my irregular menstruation(I guess)my dr induced me with progesterone injection before I can menstruate, I have been going to see gynecologist ,he told me to do some tests which I did, I did HSG,there was no blockage, and some other tests, he gave me clomid but it does not work for me,later I was told to do folliculometry ,I did it and I was told I do produce eggs but I don t ovulate.for some months now,I have been seeing my mentruation without taking injection but it was drops and light in brownish colour, my questions are: what could have causes my irregular cycle ?what drugs can I take to regularise it? Can I take premolut N to correct my menstrual cycle?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular periods can be due to hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactemia or polycystic ovarian disease. These hormonal disturbances need to be ruled out before attempting to conceive.
If you are not ovulating, then you need hCG injection after ovulation induction to assist in ovulation.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
