Hello,

Firstly, I would like to tell you that you need more time to heal. The condition you have is a chronic one.

You cannot have some rapid results. As your doctor has prescribed medicine, I would like to tell you that to continue that medicine and in the meantime, you can take Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone combination drug to manage the pain.

You can also apply ice packs in the back for management of pain. Continue taking Physiotherapy which is a very effective mode of treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
