Hi, I m a 16 year old girl and my throat has been very inflamed, I am prone to tonsillitis and throat infections so I can identify when I have either or. But this time I am constantly being sick and feeling sick also I am having episodes where one minute I m fine and the next minute I have no energy. I have been drinking lots or flueds and keeping myself warm and clean and also have been taking a deflame spray which was prescribed to me before. But I seem to be getting worse ? Can you please help ?
Hi, thanks for your query. In my opinion, you might be having upper respiratory tract infection. Continue home remedies which u are doing. If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 5 days. Blood work and throat swab are the investigation recommend ed. If symptoms persists, then please consult with your doctor and get evaluated properly. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
