Suggest Treatment For High Fever In A Child
My daughter is just under 1 year and has been running a fever of about 102 every day when she wakes up from her afternoon nap. She is cutting 4 teeth at once and was taken in to the doctor this afternoon and doesnt have an ear infection. I just find it odd that nothing is wrong when she sis spiking like this roughly at the same time every day

Hi. Usually fever is due to underlying infection and it helps body to fight infection. Paracetamol syrup(125 mg/5ml) 5ml can be given as and when needed to control fever but it does NOT treat the underlying infection.
She needs to get urine and blood tests done to give us a clue to the cause of fever. Treatment depends on the cause of fever.
