Suggest Treatment For High BP

I have developed high blood pressure - averaging 160/99 & pounding heart after going off two psychiatric medications. I have been 5 days off the last one & am wondering how long it may take for my body to rebalance. Plus how it might be treated? I have read on the internet that it is difficult to treat a brain disordered by psychiatric medications such as I was prescribed.

That depends on the nature of drug and its half-life / generally a week will suffice
Appropriate treatment demands accurate diagnosis
Diagnosis needs physician consultation and investigations…
The treating doctor alone can suggest further based on his assessment of the situation.
