General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for your query.

Heart murmurs may be physiological / due to valve problem /or turbulent blood flow through the heart.

Medications to improve erectile dysfunction (ED) can increase blood pressure and heart rate leading to strain. If there is a compromised in blood circulation to the heart, this may precipitate a heart attack.

I believe that you were prescribed the glyceryl trinitrate (GTN) spray in anticipation of a possible angina (chest pain due to compromised blood flow to the heart). Based on this I recommend that you avoid medications for ED.

Please consult your physician to Confirm this.

At home remedies,
-pelvic floor strengthening exercises (kegels for men)
-toning abdominal muscles
-weight loss
-quit smoking, alcohol
-regular cardio exercises.

Note: all exercises should be initiated only after speaking with your doctor.

There may be options in alternative medicine/naturopathy that can help without the side effects. You may want to consult with a specialist in that specialization.

Hope I've helped. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Wish you good health
