My partner had a fall last Sunday backwards onto the decking and not sure if he bumped his head or not it happened so quickly and has had headaches since since hospital scan shows shadow what can this be ? He has to wait for neurology appointment could not do lumbar puncture as he has disc problems

you are very clearly saying about the scan which shows shadows.after a fall and if there is hit on his head most probably there are possibilities of hemorrhage in brain. small clot these shadow area matters and also your partner symptoms matters like loss of consciousness .difficult in speaking and walking.all the should be evaluated by the neuro physician and should be started on proper medication.perhaps it would have easier for us if you could have s end us the scans .
