Suggest Treatment For Genital Warts

is this free? I had what appeared to be a wart at the very base of my penis around this time last year, and saw a doctor. He literally said it was fine, just a viral wart and that it would heal, and I was made to feel that I had wasted his time! - I believe that the wart has since healed and gone, however, one small, solid red lump has appeared in my pubis, around 5mm in diameter, and I think it s a littler further higher than where the original wart was. I have had it for a few months though, and it looks like it s getting bigger and redder. Should I be concerned?

Hello sir and welcome.

First of all, a viral wart? What does your doctor mean by that? Did he provide you with a diagnosis? A wart in the genital region of viral origin can be related to HPV (human papillomavirus), syphilis or even herpes. This is not as simple as he/she is making it sound, and requires medical attention.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
