Suggest Treatment For Frequent Headaches While Having Sinusitis

I frequently get headaches which makes my head so heavy that its hard to carry it above my shoulders. It hurts awfully when i bend down to pick something up and in order to avoid the pain i need to adjust the position of my head in a comfortable one and keep it that way. My BP is normal but i have sinusitis which i think might be a (or another) reason for the headaches that i get.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Frequent headache is quite common in sinusitis. Start a short course of antibiotics preferably Amoxiclav. Do steam inhalation to open up clogged sinuses.

In severe cases consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. If symptoms persist better to go for surgical intervention like FESS.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
