Suggest Treatment For Fluid Filled Spots On Arm

I have these white spots on my are that are not white heads but look like the have some type of liquid inside of them. I have about three patches of them on my arms. They are not scaly patches of dry skin. My sister also has them and so does her friend. The dermintoligst told us it was from gluten. Is this true? Also, please tell me what you think they are.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

I cannot comment accurately without having a look at them, but if your dermatologist believes it is from gluten that could be the case; although 3 of you having the same presentation does raise doubt about whether or not this is to do with insensitivty or an allergic reaction.

I would also recommend a visit to an infection specialist who should have a better idea on whether or not this could be something that has been transmitted resulting in the 3 of you acquiring it.

Best wishes.
