Suggest Treatment For Flatulence

Hi there. I am a 23 year old female and for the last year and a half my stomach has been horrible. I always have excessive gas, and was having a feeling of urgency to go to the bathroom. I was always having semi solid stools, never formed & bad anxiety. My skin also began to break out and it never used to. I also began to get a rash on the front of my neck. I went to a naturopath and she told me to stop eating gluten. I have stopped eating it and since then my gas has gone down a bit and I am having solid stools sometimes, also the feeling of urgency has gone away quite a bit. However there is still undigested food in my stool and some days I have semi-solid stools. I also always have bad gas in the morning- it is like my body doesn't do anything with my food and when I wake up I am super gassy. I also miss eating gluten, and though it has helped to cut it out I do not know if it is the actual cause of the problem. I had a stool test done and no parasite, and minor traces of yeast but nothing significant. I just want my stomach to go back to normal! I don't want to have gas all the time and I want my stool to be formed and healthy.

Hello
As you mentioned that you get rid off gluten and still you are missing .
Your main complaint is excessive gas formation .
I will try to explain ,what is the main problems in your case.
Patients with irritable bowel syndrome frequently complain of abdominal distension and increased belching or FLATULENCE , all of which they attribute to increased gas .In your case however the larger amount of gas is there .

Studies have shown that in most IBS patients have impaired transitnand tolerance of intestinal gas loads.
Here I mean to say that gas formation is more in your case due to IBS , so consult a Gastro-enterologist and take his opinion.
Good luck.
