General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

An acute flare episode is best treated with steroid shots or oral prednisolone for a short period of time with dose tapering strategy. However, a status of lupus antibodies titre and thyroid hormone status with Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, free T3 and T4 levels are of paramount importance to be considered clinically relevant to manage the case in greater perception.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
