Plus a week ago she was diagnosed with strep took peniclin and became fever free, few days after being off the meds her fever came back, but the doctor could not find the cause...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Fever is not a known side effect of norditropin though patients can react differently to medication.

Since she started the medication 8 months ago and the fever started only a few days ago, this also decreases the chance that it is related to the medication.

Her doctor may want to consider a fever screen which would normally include blood tests, urine analysis and imaging.
These investigations would be able to determine the cause of the recurrent high temperature.

I hope this helps
