Suggest Treatment For Fever In Children Despite Taking Paracetamol

My son 13, had high fever with chill day before yesterday night. He vomitted as well. But the vomit comprised of undigested food of the morning. He had also pain in abdomen. He was given paracetamol. Still fever is being felt soon after ceasing of the effect of paracetamol. Doctor has suspected Typhoid and to go for an widal. May it be malaria? He is having very mild fever for around 20days, though he is active and not caring for that. Pharyngitis like infection in throat with red/white patches are there. We are only feeling the fever. Please advise.

where is in bacterial illness>>child sick look during inter febrile illness
But your child had fever since 20days better to do some work Up
investigations:
cbp
crp
ESR
widal
complete urine examination. Urine c/s smear for Malarial parasite
USG abdomen. Please post reports.
