Suggest Treatment For Fever, Headache And Sweating In Children

My son will be 15 on Friday has been having hot flashes headache at the top of his head and running a low grade fever for a or 2 now the fever has increased to 102.5 last night. Took him to a doctor not his regular family physician and they checked for mono and thyroid. What else should I do? He is still has a fever headache and sweats?

I would suggest to look his throat for tonsillitis and pharyngitis.chest infections,abdominal infections and urinary tract infections can also cause fever.pattern of fever is also important as typhoid malaria or an abscess have characteristic fever pattern.
For symptomatic relief u should apply cold sponges to his forehead and legs.if not helpful then u should place a swab soaked in spirit under his armpit.after that paracetamol tablet is the choice.
