Suggest Treatment For Fever, Body Pains And Cough In A BP Patient

Had what I thought was the flu......sudden fever, body aches and cough.....started Monday night, in bed till Thursday. Felt better, however today I noticed I feel shaky a bit nauseous and weak. Is it normal to feel like this or should I be heading to Dr s. Ps.....not a diabetic, glucose was 107 and blood pressure 127/77. Thank you

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The flu can be associated with weakness and the shaky sensation that you are describing.

It would be due to fluid and electrolyte changes that would have occurred as a result of illness- due to decreased oral intake and fluid loss via the skin from fever.

You should continue to rest, drink fluids and monitor the symptoms for any change.

I hope this helps
