Suggest Treatment For Fever And Swollen Lymph Node In The Neck

I ve been having low grade fever every day for the last five months. The lymph nodes in my neck swell and go down about once a month. My blood work shows nothing except an elevation in my white blood cell count. Also my blood pressure is elevated. I m getting a bit worried because sometimes during my fever, I have a tightness in my chest that makes it hard for me to breathe. The doctors I have seen don t have any explanations for me. They keep telling me to wait and see if another symptom shows up. I am a 29 year old female, never been hospitalized and not on any medication. This is very out of ordinary for me and makes me wonder if I have cancer that will be caught too late. Please give me any suggestions for some kind of test I could do to figure out these symptoms. Thank you

HI.
Thanks for your query, read and understood your concerns about the fever, swollen lymph nodes in the neck.
You are having low grade fever for 5 months, nodes swell and go down, WBC is raised > indicates infection, hard breathing sometimes.
Please do not worry about cancer.

According to you history this looks to be the case of Tuberculosis and an FNAC or biopsy of the lymph node to get a proper diagnosis and treatment .
