I ve been having low grade fever every day for the last five months. The lymph nodes in my neck swell and go down about once a month. My blood work shows nothing except an elevation in my white blood cell count. Also my blood pressure is elevated. I m getting a bit worried because sometimes during my fever, I have a tightness in my chest that makes it hard for me to breathe. The doctors I have seen don t have any explanations for me. They keep telling me to wait and see if another symptom shows up. I am a 29 year old female, never been hospitalized and not on any medication. This is very out of ordinary for me and makes me wonder if I have cancer that will be caught too late. Please give me any suggestions for some kind of test I could do to figure out these symptoms.
