Suggest Treatment For Fever And Cough

I have fever for the last 4 days and the temperature goes up to 101 degree farenheit. I do not seem to be having any infection other than a mild cough. I took roxid 150 mg , one in the morning and one in the night for the last 4 days and have taken 650mg paracetomal thrice a day. Fever still persisits and I fell too cold along with fever. What do I do now

Fever can be due to viral, bacterial, parasitic or fungal infection.

Since you have a mild cough, it is possible that it is related to this. The most common cause of acute (short term) coughing is viral infection.
If it is due to a viral infection then it would not respond to the antibiotics.

Normally the infection would run its course, in most cases resolving after 7 to 10 days.

If the cough is minimal and not likely related then it would be best to consider visiting your doctor for an evaluation to determine the source of the fever.
