Morning i will sweat,afternoon fever and evening i feel chill. I have migrated to Africa around 15days back and since 11 days I suffer

Hello. Welcome to HCM.

This is Dr Jigar(ID specialist).

There appears to be some infection in your case.ESR alone has no meaning. It would be of great help If you have provided more test reports.

It appears to be like malaria. But i suggest to consult physician and go for the following tests.

1. CBC
2. peripheral smear
3. Rapid tests for plasmodial antigens
4. Urine analysis
5. Liver function test

This will give idea for further management. Till that time take paracetamol for controlling fever.
