Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And Blurred Vision While On Levofloxacin
My doctor prescribed Citalopram HBR 10MG for my symptoms of SAD, sleeplessness and general lack of energy and lack of interest in things I ve always enjoyed. I m to the point that I feel like I need some help because I m tired of not being able to sleep well and then walking around like a zombie during the day, but I m really concerned about side effects as I had some serious ones with Levofloxacin (tendon pain and peripheral neuropathy) and even get blurred vision if I take Diphenhydramine a few nights in a row. One doctor gave me Gabapentin to help me sleep, but I m afraid to take that, too. Please give my your opinion.

With the history of sad, sleeplessness, general lack of energy and lack of interest, Citalopram should have been useful.
Also needed is to change everything that has caused such symptoms, you do not lose anything by changing for a good reason. Change the place, go out, touring and so on whichever you feel gives you relaxation.
About the side effects of Levofloxacin, Muscle/tendon pain and blurred vision is a known side effect hence this medications is least prescribed or not written unless really required so.
Never take Levofloxacin as the side effects can be very serious next time.
Make a list of medications that you have been prescribed in past and suits you so that your Doctor would prescribe anything out of this list and thus the side effects are avoided the best.
Prevention is better than cure.
