Suggest Treatment For Excessive Mucus, Cough And Heavy Breathing While Walking

hello, in the mornings , I am now having to blow my nose cause I have excessive mucus. its clear. but I have never had to before. there are times I keep coughing and small hard yellow piece of mucus comes up. when I lay down for the night, I hear noise in my chest. I have to cough to make it go away, I do this several times through out the night. when I take a brisk walk my breathing is heavy and seems like I have to work /focus on my breathing. I do smoke , I have been smoking for 8 years or more

Let me tell you that symptoms described by you suggests that you may have Acute bronchitis. Moreover you have 8 year history of smoking. For diagnosis you need chest X-ray and some of blood test. You need follow those. Make sure you’re getting enough sleep. Stop smoking or avoid secondhand smoke. Eat a balanced diet to keep your body as healthy as possible.
