Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
About two years ago I went to a salon and had my hair dyed. Within a couple of weeks, I noticed my hair starting to fall out; I assumed that it was an allergic reaction to the dye (I'm allergic to Revlon and although there was no brand name, I'm guessing that;t what it was). So now, my hair still seems to be getting thinner. Is there any way to stop / reverse this?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of excessive hair fall which seems to be due to allergic reaction to dye and its chemical agents.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult trichologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test and physical examination. Doctor may also prescribe supplements like Omega-3 and Vitamin E . You should take Indian goose berry powder with water once a day and use almond oil. Avoid using any chemical product randomly. Start with Finpecia at least for 3-4 months , because it take time to work or anti fungal treatment along with minoxidil spray which has to b apply on scalp directly .
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
