Suggest Treatment For Excessive Abdominal Gas And Heartburn

HI, My name is Jeanette and I m 45 and I think that I have an issue in my digestive area. I ve had 3 kids one C section. I ve had bad gas since then. Always had an iron gut. Can drink alot at parties - even mix the booz, and no hang-over. Now my gas is accompanied w/ heartburn. even in the morning ; I havent had food yet . What do you think ? got any ideas of whats wrong , I m trouble-shooting.

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, issues with excess abdominal gas and heartburn (with drinking a lot at parties), indicate underlying gastritis with or without an ulcer in stomach or duodenum.

* My guidelines at present

- control body weight ( if BMI above 25 )
- control blood sugar and cholesterol
- avoid spices, non veg, junk foods, dairy fat
- strict avoidance of smoking and alcohol ( if consuming at present )
- consult your doc for prescription of proton pump inhibitor as Omeprazole and discuss the need of upper GI endoscopy with him or her.
