Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction

I am experiencing erectile dysfunction and i need help. Recently while having sex with my girlfriend i heard a popping sound from the base of my penis . I was really hard and i pressed hard on her and a popping sound came , though i didnt experience any pain or loss of erection at that time. After that for round 2 for the first time my girlfriend started pushing below my balls , in the perineum area , which i found nice so i didnt stop her , she continued applying pressure there for around 10 minutes until i came . Problem is that the following days i have a really weak erection , i can get hard if i put some effort while watching porn , but i will lose the erection eventually , it has been 4 days now with no improvement on this. Today i had a strange burning sensation on the spot i heard the pop while trying to have an erection , not pain , but more like sensitivity from the bottom of the penis towards the balls. I have considered the possibility of my weak erection to be masturbation or sexual overuse , because sometimes i may over do it (1-3 times per day if you add masturbation and sex lately), but i doubt it would be so sudden . I also considered stress of performance but trust me this is to much , i had stress ED before and it wasnt like that . Can this be a perineum injury ? Can this be a minor fracture of the penis ?(Shouldn t i be able to see something?) What is the period of recovery i should have in case it is : 1)Perineum injury 2)minor fracture 3)Overuse

Hi,

Erection problems can have many causes. These include physical problems, such as injury to nerves or loss of blood supply to the penis. Other health problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, anxiety, and depression. Side effects of certain medicines. Stress. Drinking too much alcohol or smoking. The exam, lab tests, and sometimes mental health tests can help find out the cause of the problem.
Tretament is based on cause and include avoiding tobacco and drugs and limiting alcohol.
Also, talking about the issue with your partner, doing sensual exercises, and getting counseling may be beneficial. Finding and then stopping medicines that may be causing the problem. In some cases, you can take a different medicine that doesn't cause erection problems. Taking prescription medicine that can help you get erections. These include pills such as sildenafil (for example, Viagra), tadalafil (for example, Cialis). In most cases, this is sufficient for treatment but you should just be patient and do necessary tests.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
