Suggest Treatment For Erectile Dysfunction

I am 49 years of age and have been a virile man. Yesterday for the first time I had to opportunity to have sex with a young girl and though I was immensely attracted to her and found her sexy, I could not get an erection. It happened to me the fist time. I am embarrassed but I am fighter and want to get my erectile capacity back. Please help.

If I were your treating Doctor for this case sudden and unexpected failure to gain an erection, I would consider following reasons like:

1. diabetes causing neuropathy
2. problems in prostate or male hormones
3. neurological problems in the lumbosacral region
4. any trauma or vascular problem in the penis
5. psychological or CNS problems

therefore you need some tests and if necessary evaluation by a psychiatrist.
