Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain And Tenderness In Earlobe

It started as an ear ache. But it hurts my jaw when I chew. My earlobe is tender. Around my ear is tender. I don t like anything to be in contact with my ear. I don t feel like it is an earache though. I can t sleep on that side. Tenderness in front of my ear. it has been hurting for six days now. I ve had minor ear aches before but never had to treat them. I am a 59 year old woman. What could be wrong with me?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the most common cause of this is wax impaction with fungal infection initially it can be managed with ear drops that dissolves the wax and works on fungal infection, ear drops that contains "Turpentine oil with local anesthetic agent with Clotrimazole" if this fails to responds then better to see the ENT surgeon hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
