Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Dryness Of Mouth
My mom is 66 years old. On Tuesday, she began experiencing dizziness and went to urgent care. She didn t have any pain or other symptons. They did an ekg on her and that came back fine. They then gave her an iv drip for what they said was vertigo (which was causing her to be dizzy). Later that night she began bleeding vaginally (as if she was having a menstrual period (she hasn t had a period in about 14 yrs). It only lasted that night. She went back to the urgent care and they told her that she needed to get a vaginal exam. She wasn t able to get in to get an exam until Monday. Today, I spoke with her and she said she is still dizzy/weak and now she has a dry mouth. I m not sure what to tell her to do at this time and she a little scared. Can you advise what could possibly cause this and what our next step should be. Thank you .

Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Dryness Of Mouth
Hi, Welcome to HCM, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. As per your clinic history, dizziness and dryness of mouth could be due to hypotension secondary to blood loss of her first period. Hope, I have answered your query, all the best, take care.
