Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Conceiving Due To Thyroid

Hi, I am taking medicin for thiroid frm last 2 yrs., but no use... i am putting weight day by day. I got married in dec 2009 till the date i failled to conceive... we took all medicines, treatment, tests... nothing found except thiroide... we wnt baby.. now dr suggested for test tube baby.. but we r thinking that will wait for some time.. we r thinking we didnt get proper treatment.. coz still my MC cyle is irregular, so how culd i??.. plz suggest us procedure or good gynec to whom we can trust in Maharashtra / India.

You have not mentioned any of your report ....
You have thyroid issues and weight gain ...
And not able to conceive ...

First of all your following report needed for more comments .....
-TSH
-T3
-T4 (free t4 )

Based on this report we can reach up to diagnosis like.......
1.Primary hypothyroid or
2.Secondary or tertiary hypothyroid

In primary hypothyroid thyroid itself affected with high TSH and low t4 .For which levothyroxine drug prescribed ...Dose based on tsh level ...

Second in secondary or tertiary hypothyroid pituitary and hypothalamus defect there that should be corrected...

Hypothyroid can sometime lead infertility ...

But if with drugs TSH level maintained between 2 to 3 than chance of conception more ..

Consult endocrinologist in your state for this ....
