Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Pain abdomen and diarrhea may be due to many causes like infection, inflammatory bowel disease, food Intolerance, or malabsorption syndromes etcetera.

As you mentioned, terminal ileitis with sigmoid colon inflammation may be seen in crohn’s disease.

What about your stools? Is it hard or soft? Mucous is in the stools or blood in stools?

Please consult your gastroenterologist so that he will do upper GI scopy, colonoscopy, biopsy and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
