TRIGLYCERIDES 124.HDL 53.LDL 166.HGB A1C,10.0.BLOOD SUGAR OLD TIME IS IN 170,220,Y HAVE NEW MEDICATION,Glimepiride 2mg,tab.1tab every day..januvia 100mg,1 tab,every day.metformin 1000mg tab two,tab every day.lisinopril.2.5mg,1tab evry day,atorvastatin 10mg tab 1,at bed time.LANTUS INSULIN.15,EVERY DAY,PLEASE HELP

Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
You have Diabetes and deranged lipid profile, both can be a risk factors for heart and kidney diseases in Longterm . However at present your lipid profile is not out of control. So, don't worry.
Ideal values of lipid profile should be-
LDL HDL >45-50..
TRIGLYCERIDES TOTAL CHOLESTEROL My advice to you is
1 . You are are already taking tab. Atorvastatin. Just ask your doctor to increase the dose and repeat the lipid profile after 2 months.
2. Control of diabetes is more important. DO check FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly.
3.Drink vegetable soup daily, brisk walking for 40 min and avoid more oily and milk based product. Che ck your thyroid levels also onetime at least.
If you control all this parameters, in future there will be no health problems.
