Suggest Treatment For Depression And Mood Swings Along With Shorter Menstrual Cycle
So for the past i want to say 2 months I ve been feeling very depressed and experiencing mood swings constantly. i ve been feeling fatigue and always taking naps throughout the day. Lower back pains also. Hot Flashes as well. minor headaches. Here and there foods i eat make me feel sick. However i haven t vomited. i ve also had diarrhea for the past week or so. Another thing that is very odd and concerning is that this month i only got my period for 2 days. the total 2 days were medium to light flow. out of my 11 years of having periods, not once have i had a light period or even a short period. my normal cycle is 6 days with the first three days bleeding heavy. so my question is, could these be early signs of pregnancy?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
To role out pregnancy, do a home pregnancy test. If you are not pregnant, then it looks like you are suffering from hormonal insufficiency and maybe oral contraceptives can help.
