Suggest Treatment For Deafness And Pain In The Right Ear?
remember name said things seemed to be fine as I had been complaining of deafness and my right ear hurting and feeling full which had been letter to go back to ent in a week thought at my last visit that was it , should I mention these other symptoms when I go back , on no medication at all only contraceptive pill and I stopped smoking in March this year ,for some reason , which I ve never done before I m 42 years of age thankyou sorry haven t set up mail address yet new to ipad

As per your query you are suffering from deafness and foulness in your ear . Well there can be many reasons for hearing loss like age, illness, and genetics, some medications and plenty of sources of loud, continuous noise , Impacted earwax , infection in the ear canal. Medicines which causes hearing loss are antibiotics and chemotherapy drugs, aspirin, loop diuretics and a drug used to treat malaria. But in your case it seems to me that infection of ear canal is responsible for hearing loss and pain . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and rule out above conditions . Doctor may order CT scan and examine with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( gentamicine ) for at least 10 days along with medicine to reduce inflammation . Doctor may also place tubes for drainage .
