Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Stool softeners will be helpful. I would recommend non habit forming stool softeners like softovac. You should also take more plain water. If gastritis is there then it should be treated with proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole ( Nexium ). Use warm water to wash the anal area which will give relaxation for sphincter. Laxatives like bisacodyl or castor oil can be taken if there is severe constipation. If still there is pain on anal area then it should be examined by a general surgeon to rule out fissures.
