Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am experiencing rapid pulse rate intermittently, chills and very mild naseau. I have experienced this before in last two years and even went to ER more than once and followed up with cardiologist who gave me a stress test and said basically I don t have a heart problem. This is not the first time it has reoccurred again. I am a 46 yo female. My internist told me this is reflux but when it is happening like it is now it feels like something more serious.
It looks like you are having stress-related issues which are giving you anxiety and increase the acid reflux. The major cause of nausea and heartburns.
You need to consult a psychiatric and a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment plan.
During the meantime, you can take Rabeprazole once daily empty stomach.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Muzaffer Hussain Parray , Dentist
