General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Chickenpox is a self-limiting condition and takes around 7-10 days for its resolution.

Additional guidelines as per your requirement

- allow her plenty of liquids as coconut water, lemon juice, fresh made
juices to maintain hydration

- a diet consisting of protein, vitamin, carbohydrates and minerals

- cold tapid water sponging

- aloe vera gel over skin lesions

- avoid excess sun exposure

- antipyretic as paracetamol or acetaminophen for fever spikes control

* As and when required do remain in regular follow up with her pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
