HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

This sounds like neuropathy. Neuropathy refers to abnormal function of the nerves.

It can be temporary or permanent.

There are different possible causes such as: (a) diabetes
(b)infection such as shingles
(c)trauma to the nerves that are responsible for this area eg any issue with the back
(d)liver or kidney disease
(e)side effect of medication
(f)nerve diseases such as ms or stroke
(g)exposure to toxins
(h)idiopathic- cause not known
(i)vitamin b12 or folate deficiency

If it continues then you may need to see your doctor to determine the exact cause.
This would require physical examination and it is likely investigations may be needed.

I hope this helps
