Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sorrow for what has happened. Usually after taking mammography the pain may last for 1 to 2 days. But as you had painful mammography with the extent that breast turned into black and blue. It may take few more days to you. The measures that can possibly help you are : Taking analgesic and anti-inflammatory drugs. Like Paracetamol and serratiopeptidase combination. Ice compression can reduce the pain and redness. If superficial blood clots noted, thrombophobe ointment can work. If you have leaking of milk from the nipple, serum prolactin estimation should be done to rule out hormonal abnormalities. By seeing the report of your mammography, your doctor may advise further treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
