Suggest Treatment For Bradycardia Due To Eating Disorder

Hey, I was diagnosed with an eating disorder and the effects were secondary amenorrhea and bradycardia. My resting rate rate then was 45 and they said it could be reversed but I was wondering if it was possible to reverse it in a week? I ve been following their orders of eating more for about 5 days now and my resting heart rate is between 70-80 every time I check it.

Hello!

I would explain that your actual heart rate now are quite normal.
You should know that during eating, there is an increase in heart rate because there is an increase in blood flow to the gastro-intestinal tract.
So, it is quite normal to have such heart rate in a week.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
