Suggest Treatment For Blurred Vision In The Eye

About a week ago upon weakening I noticed my right eye seemed blurry. I just thought I was tired and my vision would clear. Its been over a week now and it is still bothering me. I wear glasses for work (computer and reading) and even though they re a fairly new prescription they aren t helping with the vision in my right eye. I feel fine but am wondering if this could be a symptom of something else. Thanks, Marlane 62 years old

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Should get checked immediately by an eye specialist. Should rule out increased eye pressure (glaucoma) first and cataract. Monitor your blood pressure, and record the results for reference. High blood pressure is common in patients of your age.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
