Suggest Treatment For Bleeding In Uterus And Abdomen Pain

Hi im 7 1/2 weeks pregnant, my doctor told me that there is bleeding in my uterus because i have some light brown discharges (sometimes) and sudden pain in lower abdomen (sometimes), for this she prescribed me to increase take duphaston for 3x a day plus primolut depot injection for 1 month.. yesterday was my 1st injection and in the morning as i check i have light brown discharges... is it safe

Hi,
I understand your concern.
* Bleeding,brown discharge in 7 1/2 weeks of pregnancy is mostly due to hormone Progesteron deficiency.* However It needs to be confirmed by abdominal sonography.
Your doctor has rightly started with Inj. Proluton depo250 mg weekly. ideally it should be continued till 3 1/2 months ( when progesteron is produced naturally). should be taken regularly.
Tab. Duphaston is also a progesteron preparation- it can be very well taken as per your doctor's advise.
Tab. Isoxuprine hydrochloride ( Duvadelan) can be added to control abdominal pain.
* you need to avoid physical/mental stress ,take rest with the medication.
* The brown bleeding might be old bleeding collected in uters. it will drain out. Please don't worry.
