Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently went to the Dr. and was diagnosed with a vaginal bacterial infection along with a UTI. I was almost a week ago and finished my antibiotics and everything a couple of days ago. My vagina/clitoris/ anus has been itching like crazy lately. I also noticed some white stuff around my clitoris today. I can t even sleep at night it itches so badly, usually from being dry. It usually get dry at night and normal during the day but still itches constantly. What could this be?
The situation seems to be worse from taking the antibiotics. It seems like you are suffering a candida vaginal infection which is giving the white cottage cheese secretions. You may need to take anti-fungal medications such Clotrimazole or Miconazole Ovula to be inserted intravaginally.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
