Suggest Treatment For Aortic Arch Calcification
i,m having bouts of cough for last 15 days,and fever which lasted 4 days fever is not there and cough is relieved after taking cadiphyllate elixir ,as i m 78 years /female and have orthostatic hypotension i,m taking Tab. Telmisartan 20 morning. earlier i took tab AZEE for 3 days find some relief thereafter i was given TAB amoxi clav 625 twice for 4 days. My sputum for AFB is negative CXR shows both lungs middle and lower zone hazy and thickening of lung lining. Xray also reprts calcification of aortic knuckle. KINDLY advice

As your lungs have haziness in middle and lower zones continue tab amoxy clav 625 twice a day till complete cure.For aortic arch calcification if smoker please stop smoking, reduce wieght if over wieght have a regular walk daily.If ihave to treat a patient i will advise tab cilostazol 100mg twice a day, tab ecosprin 75 mg daily.Those who do not improve endovascular techniques are available.
