Suggest Treatment For Anxiety Caused By Depression

My husband passed away last month and since he died I have been experiencing severe anxiety. My doctor prescribed lorazepam. I am also taking celexa and quetiapine fumarate as I have bi-polar 2. Is there something that can help prevent the anxiety attacks or can they only be treated once they start?

Hello,

The depression from your husband's untimely demise must have triggered your anxiety. The medicine given is enough to address the anxiety. Here you must try to understand your anxiety. Just keep calm and the anxiety problem will solve itself.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr K. V. Anand, Psychologist
