Suggest Treatment For Anemia With Diarrhea And Vomiting

My son was admitted in lotus hospital a week ago for anemia.During discharge the doctor prescribed tonoferon. After coming home after meals I gave my son tonoferon but after that he had loose motions and vomiting.And after that he is complaining of stomach pain each time I try to feed him.My son is 8 years old .I stopped tonoferon immediately after that day, but my son is still complaining of stomach pain since three days.I request for proper suggestion

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history related to your son who is 8 years old, was admitted in Lotus hospital for anemia. On discharge got Tonoferon syrup but started pain in abdomen, vomiting and loose motions.
It is good that you stopped tonoferon.
It has high contents of iron and that has the direct effect on the gastrointestinal tract. Gastritis causes pain and vomiting. Intolerance by small intestine causes loose motions.
I would advise you to visit the Doctor again as your son needs Iron supplements. He will change to another elemental form of iron or give blood transfusion or give injectable iron preparations.
Please continue the treatment till he is cured.
Pomegranate fruit is the best natural source of Iron and vitamins, please give him the fruits or the juice.
