HELLO, DOCTOR, I AM SUFFERING FROM ALLERGIC RHINITIS FOR MANY YEARS , SOME TIME I GET GOOD RELIEF WITH CHESTON COLD, DEFCORT 6 MG, BUT DURING THIS TIME IN THE YEAR, AFTER THE RAIN , MY ALLERGY GET WORST, LOTS OF THICK YELLOW DISCHARGE IS COMING FROM MY NOSE, HEADACHE, RUNNY NOSE, LOTS OF SNEEAZING, EVEN I COULD NOT RESPIRATE , MY POLYPS OF NOSE ARE COMPLETELY SWOLLEN, PLEASE HELP ME

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have allergic rhinitis, sneezing and runny nose which is due to infection of nasal sinuses leading to rhinosinusitis. Need not to worry. You should take steam inhalation along with vaporizers. You should put antiinflammatory nasal drops such as that of Fluticasone . Take proper course of antibiotic for 5 days along with antihistamine such as Levocitrizine. You should avoid exposure to allergens such as dust. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for CT sinuses. Start treatment after prescription.
