Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Vagina
I have a very painful lump that just appeared a few days ago under the skin on one side of my vagina. It s pretty large, maybe the size of a golf ball. It hurt really bad until it started bleeding/oozing pus yesterday. Now it is slightly less painful and slightly less swollen but the pain has extended to my leg. And part of the bump now feels like a bone or something pointy and hard. It s hard to describe. My question is, should I just schedule an appointment with an OBGYN and hope to be seen as soon as possible, or is it maybe more severe and should go to the ER? I ve also been having headaches lately, not sure if the two are related somehow.
A painfull lump on side of vagina in skin which burst dischrging pus or fluid is Bartholincyst..If i have to treat such a patient i will advice to get the discharge tested and cultured and sensitivity done .May be it is chlamidia. If i have to treat such a patient i will advice incision and drainage and also laser treatment will also establish a new duct. Antibiotics are unnessary unless cellulitis is present
