Suggest Treatment For A Lump On The Ear

Hi, I have 2 painful hard immovable lumps behind my right ear one large then the other but not exceeding the size of a nickel. I ve also had a sore throat & hoarse voice for over 3 weeks. Should I wait it out ir see my doctor? I noticed the bumps tonight due to the pain.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The lumps are likely related to the sore throat and hoarseness. They are likely enlarged lymph nodes , lymph nodes respond to infection/inflammation.

The sore throat, hoarseness may be due to allergies, infection.

You should rest your voice. In addition the use of topical steroid nasal sprays and oral anti histamines may help.

I hope this helps
