Hi,

I guess your concern is about for a bump in vagina. Well we shall discuss the information given by you step by step:

1. The bump don't hurt, itch or bother you. Usually some mass/ growth like thing will be unnoticed by people and if it is not associated with itching, pain or no discomfort,

2. You can only see it if you put a mirror.

3. It looks pinkish and feels soft like rest of your vagina.

The information shared from you points towards the problem by name- "BARTHOLIN CYST". Relax, it is not a big issue. But you have not shared the information about the size of the bump and where exactly it is present in outside the vagina. So I cant tell 100% it is Bartholin Cyst.

But somehow the information is match for this problem. But don't worry it can be treated. Treatment is a simple surgery - MARSUPIALIZATION.

With the above information you can try out the my suggestions:

1. I strongly recommend you to visit a nearby gynecologist. Gynecologist have a expert knowledge about a female anatomy and problems associated with it. They will give you a precise treatment.

2. The gynecologist will have a look at the problem and decide what can be done. Hopefully if it turns to be a bartholin cyst, discuss freely the pros and cons of surgery with the doctor.

3. As you are visiting a gynecologist, if it does't turn to be a bartholin cyst, as they are expert in female anatomy, they can find out what the problem exactly it is.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sudha Rani Panagar
